Piers Brown teaches courses in Renaissance literature, poetics, and the history of the book. He was a SSHRC post-doctoral fellow at the University of York before arriving at West Virginia University, and is a two-time winner of the John Donne Society’s Distinguished Publication award (2008, 2009). He is interested in early modern poetry and prose, textual cultures, and scientific knowledge-making.
