Ryan Claycomb teaches courses in twentieth-century British Literature, particularly featuring drama and performance texts, and has also taught on subjects as wide ranging as women’s literature, Shakespeare, and food studies. His interests lie at the crossroads of text and performance, narrative and history, and power and resistance. His current projects include a book on life writing in contemporary feminist performance, a book collection on anti-disciplinarity in writing and cultural studies classrooms, and articles on how theatre and drama alter existing modes and theories of narrative.
