MFA students bid farewell to another jam packed semester at 123 Pleasant St. on December 12, 2023. We once again had a full house, and it was a fantastic night of readings! There was a variety of 3rd year thesis readings and flash fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. Afterwards, the mic was opened to the public, and community members took the stage with their own incredible writing. It was a great night to bring writers together in Morgantown!
We’re also excited to share that MFA@123 is going to be a MONTHLY event this spring semester! This will encourage more participatory reading/writing habits and involvement with the MFA and the 123 community. If you can’t make it this month, make plans to join next month! MFA@123 readings will be the fourth Tuesday of each month, from 7:00-8:30PM.
