The Bachelor of Arts in English is a SpeakWrite-Certified Program™. We are committed to fostering students’ written, verbal, visual, and mediated communication skills. When students speak and write purposefully and thoughtfully in their classes, they’re engaged. They are ready to enter conversations in their fields and in their communities. Throughout the courses required for the B.A. in English, students develop key communication skills.
