Visiting scholar talk on Book History and AI - October 7

All--
Early American studies scholar Kristina Bross will give a talk, "What Book History Can Teach Us about Our AI Moment," with Q&A to follow, at 4 pm October 7 in 130 Colson. Formerly Professor of English at Purdue, Professor Bross's work has focused on Indigenous American and Atlantic World texts. She is currently Dean of the Honors College at Ohio University.
I've invited Professor Bross in conjunction with my ENGL 646  class, American literature beginnings to 1865. You're all invited to join. My class will be reading two pieces, one mid-19th c. and one contemporary, in preparation—but you don't need to read these in order to attend.
