9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Literary Journal Display, Colson Hall, first floor

9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. General Registration; WVU Bookstore on site, Gold Ballroom, Mountainlair

Noon – 2:00 p.m. Welcome Lunch and talk by Marc Harshman, “The Poetry of Healing,” Gold Ballroom, Mountainlair.

2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. A craft talk, “The Five Magic Doors to Marvelous Writing,” by Mark Brazaitis, followed by an impromptu writing exercise (dedicated to longtime WVWW participant Shann Palmer), followed by an impromptu reading of participant work. Gold Ballroom, Mountainlair.

3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Workshops

7:15 p.m. Open mike reading by West Virginia Writers’ Workshop participants. Location: Mother India Restaurant. (Those not signed up for the dinner are welcome to attend and participate in the reading at 7:15 p.m.)
