Kaitlin Licause

Kat graduated from the Professional Writing and Editing program at WVU in 2016. Kat now works as a technical publications professional for Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc. Her daily grind involves working on technical manuals for the US Navy, communicating with subject matter experts and leading projects to improve the effectiveness of our nuclear fleet. She is also responsible for revising internal company policy documents, conducting research on digital publishing products, training new employees, and planning corporate events. Outside of her primary employment, she is also a freelance writer/editor, working on everything from press releases to product descriptions to even children’s fairytales. She continues to work with WVU as a freelance editor for the Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources. When she does get free time, Kat fills it with writing fiction, non-fiction short stories, and poetry
